About My Service

Software design and development. In nearly 30 years, I have worked with just about every type of software imaginable. Though it is no longer possible to keep up with alll developments in the field, I do my best to stay abreast of what is going on. Give me a business or technical problem and I'll give you a good idea of what can or can't be done about it within your budget. Something can always be done. Anything can be done, it's just a matter of how much one puts into it. This depends on how important the problem is and how much the solution is worth.

About My Skills

My most important skill is understanding business and technical problems and working out solutions to them. I learn new technologies and programming languages quickly and so have managed to keep my skills relatively current.

I have programmed in Cobol, Assembly, machine languages, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, ASP, ASP.Net and many other languages along the way.

I have written business software, graphics applications, games and web sites. I have written device drivers and control software for mainframe storage systems, security systems and operating room equipment.

When I am not the best person for a job, I know lots of other programmers to pass work on to.
